Coldstream Hills Reserve Shiraz is a cool climate Shiraz made from a selection of hillside grower vineyards in the Lower Yarra Valley. They are low yielding and north facing, planted in 2001.

The fruit ferments in small open vessels and static fermenters. The wine matures in French oak for 16 months before blending and bottling. It spends a further 12 months ageing in bottle prior to release.

Dark cherry, Coldstream Hills Reserve Shiraz is silky and concentrated, with dark berry flavours, fine grained tannins and lasting length. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
